             Incompatability with Diamond SpeedSTAR

Neither The Complete PC nor any of it's employees assume any

There is a know incompatability between early BIOS versions of
Diamond Computer System's SpeedSTAR Video Graphics card and our
products.  The problem(s) encountered are listed below:

Mouse tracks left in graphics screens.  Not mouse dependent.

Diamond Computer Systems, Inc. has developed a newer version of
BIOS to fix this problem.  Listed below are the BIOS versions you
should have:

Long Board
SpeedSTAR       SpeedSTAR Plus
v3.12           v4.12

Short Board
SpeedSTAR       SpeedSTAR Plus
v3.22           v4.22

If you are running an earlier version than the ones listed above,
or are encountering the problem outlined above, please contact
Diamond Computer Systems, Inc. for a BIOS upgrade.
