The following chart shows you how to set the scanner interface card switches for different I/O settings. Switch 1 2 3 I/O Address UP UP UP 220-227 UP UP DN 260-267 UP DN UP 2A0-2A7 UP DN DN 2E0-2E7 (default) DN UP UP 320-327 DN UP DN 360-367 DN DN UP 3A0-3A7 DN DN DN 3E0-3E7 I/O address 3E0 is a good choice which rarely causes a conflict. Switches 4 through 7 set the associated interrupt. Switch Description 4 5 6 7 UP DN DN DN Interrupt 2 (default) DN UP DN DN Interrupt 3 DN DN UP DN Interrupt 4 DN DN DN UP Interrupt 5 Please note that COM 1 uses interrupt 4 and COM 2 uses interrupt 3, so if you will be using interrupt 3 or 4 that coresponding COM port will have to be disabled. Tandy 1000 SL/TL computer users, you must not use interrupt 2 for scanning.
