                      Complete Modem Series
            Installing Bitcom Communications software
                                

This document is provided as "For your information" and as is.
Neither The Complete PC nor any of it's employees assume any
responsibility for consequences resulting from the use of the
following information nor can the Complete PC technical support
provide help with this document.  The user of said information
does so at his or her own risk.

This document explains how to install the Bitcom Communications
software with you Complete Modem or Complete Modem Plus.  The
Complete Modem or Complete Modem Plus package does not contain a
separate Bitcom disk.  The Bitcom software and installation
programs have been compressed and are located on the RapidFAX for
DOS software disk.  You do not have to install the fax software
to install Bitcom.  To install the Bitcom software please do the
following:

Create a directory on your hard drive to store the Bitcom files
such as C:\BITCOM.  Once the directory is created change
directories to the C:\BITCOM directory.

Insert the RapidFAX disk into your floppy drive.  Type
A:\BITSETUP (B:\ if the floppy is in the B drive) and hit Enter.

The Bitcom installation program will now copy all of the files to
your BITCOM directory.

At this point the Bitcom software is installed in the system,
remove the RapidFAX for DOS disk from the PC.
