CPC092292 265.DOC The Complete Communicator Using the @1 and @2 Functions This document is provided as "For your information" and as is. Neither The Complete PC nor any of it's employees assume any responsibility for consequences resulting from the use of the following information nor can the Complete PC technical support provide help with this document. The user of said information does so at his or her own risk. The @ functions are used to substitute routinely used telephone company access codes into the dialing routine for your faxes. You have two of them, @1 and @2. Use them in the phone number field from your Send Faxes screen. For example: @1408-434-9600 Where the @1 equals the following: 0,3458729;;;; Where the 0 is the operator attention code followed by a comma to give a brief pause, the the access code, the four long pauses to wait for the bell tone from the phone company. You will want to setup your @1 and @2 function to the lengths and codes required for your particular situation. The following would be what the Communicator software would dial: 0,3458729;;;;408-434-9600 You could also use an @ funtion for a password. For example: @1408-434-9600@2 Where @2 would equal ;;33 the resulting dial string would be: 0,3458729;;;;1408-434-9600;;33 Access to the credit card codes is located in System Configuration from the Complete FAX. It is at the bottom of the form.
