The user of said information does so at his or her own risk. The following file is necessary to use the Canon scanner. IXHND2.COM To install the driver, use the DOS COPY command to copy the file IXHND2.COM into your or CCOM subdirectory. The Command IXHND2 must be run before using your Canon Scanner with the CFAX software. You may want to add this command to your AUTOEXEC.BAT file so that it is loaded automatically. Enter the command as follows: IXHND2 /xy zz Where x is the I/O address for your Canon Scanner board x = I/O address 0 = 308-30FH (Default Value)* If the scanned image has vertical lines in the image select another I/O address. 1 = 318-31FH 2 = 1A8-1AFH Where y is the buffer address for your Canon Scanner board y = Buffer address 0 = C0000 - C0FFFH (Default Value) 1 = C4000 - C4FFFH 2 = D0000 - D0FFFH 3 = D4000 - D4FFFH zz specifies the interrupt vector number (Default Value is 7F) this must be the same as entered on the CCOM Hardware Configuration screen under the INSTALLC program.
