                    The Complete Communicator
                          Using Polling

does so at his or her own risk.

To Initiate Polling from CCOM:

Verify that Polling has been enabled from within the Fax
Configuration  screen.
The default value is No, set it to yes.

Once Polling has been enabled, access the Send Fax screen.
Tab over to the Phone Number field and press F7 List.
The recipient list will appear.
Enter the phone number of the fax machine you wish to Poll. (do
not enter a file name) Enter the Polling Password of the FAX
machine you are calling (only required if other machine has one).
Set Y for Polling.  Press FIO to return to the Send screen.  F10
to initiate the Polling call.

To have someone Poll your CCOM:

Verify that Polling has been enabled from within the Fax
Configuration screen.  The default value is No, set it to Yes.

Once you have done the above, you have an option in the Special
Features menu for F8 Polling List.  This is where you list the
files callers can receive in the Polling mode.  The callers
cannot choose which files in your list they can receive, they
will receive all files listed.

Press F8 from the special features menu to see the Polling List.
(This option only appears if polling is enabled.)

Type the name (without file extension) of each Fax file to be
sent on a different line. (files can also be selected from the
FAX directory, see below)

Press F10 to save your list and return to the Special Features
menu.

You can view and print the faxes in the Polling List.
You can delete a file from the list with F6
When Polled, CFAX will send all the files in the polling list.

To Select a file from the Fax Directory

Press F7 from the polling list screen to display the Fax
Directory

Highlight the file you want and press F4 to select, the # sign
will mark each of the selected Faxes to be polled.
