Neither The Complete PC nor any of it's employees assume any responsibility for consequences resulting from the use of the following information nor can the Complete PC technical support provide help with this document. The user of said information does so at his or her own risk. If you are installing a Complete Communicator and you get the error message "error "writing" or "reading" drive D" you must change your primary boot device on your TANDY computer from ROM to DISK. All Tandy TL and SL Computers come with a program called SETUP that in used to alter the setup of the computer. It is included with the other DOS programs supplied with the computer. You run it typing: SETUPTL or SETUPSL The second panel you come to is titled System Startup and has as one of it's modification areas Primary Startup Device. This field can have as one of its values ROM or DISK. If it is ROM change it to Disk. Another modification area is titled "Check for CONFIG.SYS on Drives", and has as possible values A, C. or NO. You should normally select C. Do not select No. or our install program will not be able to make the necessary modifications. Another modification area is titled "Check for AUTOEXEC.BAT on Drive.-", and has as possible values the same as above. The same rules apply here; you will need to select C.
