Neither The Complete PC nor any of it's employees assume any responsibility for consequences resulting from the use of the following information nor can the Complete PC technical support provide help with this document. The user of said information does so at his or her own risk. If you have the Communicator set to answer as a fax then your fax greeting should give the caller specific instructions for sending information. Here's an example. From the CAM Main Menu, select Mailbox Control. Select CFAX from the list of mailboxes and press Enter. You will see the Record Greeting screen. Press the Down arrow to move the highlight below the bottom of the list of recordings. Press F9 to start recording and pick up the handset of the phone connected to CCOM. Begin speaking when you hear the beep. Example: "Thank you for calling ABC Company. Please press any key to leave a voice message or for data communications. Stay on the line to transmit a fax. Thank you." Note: You are limited to 12 seconds for the fax greeting. This is so fax machines sending to you won't "time out" before CFAX comes on the line. When you're finished recording, press the star symbol (*) on the phone. If you want to edit the recording, press F6 to delete it With your new greeting still highlighted, press F7 to make it the active greeting. Press F10 to save the new greeting and return to the Mailbox Control screen. Press F10 to return to the CAM Main Menu.
