CPC051093 The Complete PC QuickFAX Fax Retrieval System Fax Information Catalog * BBS Version * How to Use the QuickFAX System To receive information via QuickFAX, dial (408) 434-9749 from the phone connected to your Complete PC Fax product. When you hear the initial greeting, press the 2 key on your touch tone phone. When prompted, enter the number of the document you wish to receive (Maximum of 4). Carefully enter each document number from the catalog. IF YOU ARE NOT USING A COMPLETE PC FAX PRODUCT TO RECEIVE, PLEASE SKIP THE NEXT PARAGRAPH. If you are using a Complete PC Fax product to receive your selected documents, press ALT-F (if you have changed your HotKey settings, use the appropriate keys you have assigned) to bring up the HotKey or go to Receive Faxes and use F5 manual receive. When prompted, press the F2 key to manually receive the fax documents. After you hear the fax tone hang up the phone. Your documents will then be transmitted and available for review. If you are using a standard fax machine to retrieve your selected documents, when prompted simply press START key on your fax machine and hang up the phone. The fax machine will then start receiving the documents you have selected. Note: The QuickFAX Fax Retrieval System is a send only fax machine, please do not try to send Technical Support faxes to this system. The Technical Support fax machine number is (408)434-9701. The information found on the QuickFAX system is also available via the Technical Support BBS. All documents are assigned the same document number on both the QuickFAX and BBS systems. All QuickFAX documents found on the BBS have a TXT extension, and are in a text format. These can be used with any text editor, or viewed/printed at a DOS prompt. Documents marked with an * (asterisk) are not available on the BBS, they must be downloaded from the QuickFAX system.
